Strange Days

Hard to believe we play a game in less than three weeks.  It is a very strange feeling when you haven't practiced or met your team.  First two to three weeks of the Cape League season is a very interesting time.  Looking forward to watching our guys play!

I still love the Lakers, but really miss The Zen-Master. 

Great hanging out with good friends yesterday at the USC/Arizona game.  Watched the game with Doug Fritz, Paul Franklin, and Mitch Moore, who were all teammates at Pepperdine.  We were there to watch Mitch's son Riley play, a freshman catcher for Arizona.  Also great to catch up with legendary coach Andy Lopez, who I had the honor of coaching with in his first season at Cal State Dominguez Hills back in 1982-83.

NBA...

...if not the Lakers, glad it was the Mavs.

Double-header vs. Hyannis tomorrow. Rained out the last two nights. Spent the evening watching Super-Regional games and the NBA Finals tonight.

Be good to get back on the diamond and play a baseball game tomorrow.

Lakers...

I love the Lakers, even when they get beat by a #7 seed to even their series at two. I would love nothing more than seeing them give Phil another 3-peat in his final season.

Definitely going to be interesting...stay tuned!
